I recently visited New York and stumbled upon the gallery of Lisa Crosby. Besides doing head shot photos she also does fantastic equestrian prints. The gallery is impressive itself with the serene, bright light contrasting with the statement-making, oversize photographs. Below are some ways to work an equestrian print in your home.

I’ve been wanting to revamp my bedroom a bit, mostly because my style is changing. My personal spaces have always had a touch of glam bohemian, which don’t get my wrong I loooove, but I also want a more classic, romantic style.
I realized the bedrooms that make me go wow have a few common traits: tufted headboard, dramatic gold mirror, crisp white linens and a smidge of leopard. Here are a few photos I always return to.

I don’t think I’ve ever been wowed by a residence so much as this home designed by Charles Spada. I mean I am head over heels in love with every single square inch. The image of the living room showcasing the leopard sofa has been on my Pinterest board for a long time and through a little research I came to find out that Charles Spada is based right here in Boston. When I was living in Florence I loved having Ortigia candles in my apartment. I adore their packaging which caught my eye while in Lungarno Details (and later found Ortigia’s own charming boutique across the Arno). All of their ingredients are native to Sicily, where the company is based, and include blood oranges, cactus, eucalyptus, lemon and grapefruit trees, almonds, pistachios, saffron and olives. After becoming a devotee of Michael Kors watches, I picked up a few pieces from his jewelry collection and I’m digging them. Here are a few more pieces that caught my eye.
I have received a lot of compliments on this one from both men and women – a keeper!

I received The Principles of Uncertainty by Maira Kalman as a gift and I’m really enjoying it. It’s written as a quirky, thoughtful stream of consciousness with charming, dreamy illustrations (which Kalman is most famous for). Can’t wait to read her other books!
