Equestrian Prints

Tags

I recently visited New York and stumbled upon the gallery of Lisa Crosby. Besides doing head shot photos she also does fantastic equestrian prints. The gallery is impressive itself with the serene, bright light contrasting with the statement-making, oversize photographs. Below are some ways to work an equestrian print in your home.

Charles Spada

I don’t think I’ve ever been wowed by a residence so much as this home designed by Charles Spada. I mean I am head over heels in love with every single square inch. The image of the living room showcasing the leopard sofa has been on my Pinterest board for a long time and through a little research I came to find out that Charles Spada is based right here in Boston. Here’s a spectacular tour.

Ortigia Home Scents

When I was living in Florence I loved having Ortigia candles in my apartment. I adore their packaging which caught my eye while in Lungarno Details (and later found Ortigia’s own charming boutique across the Arno). All of their ingredients are native to Sicily, where the company is based, and include blood oranges, cactus, eucalyptus, lemon and grapefruit trees, almonds, pistachios, saffron and olives. Read more about their history here. Ortigia has only a few locations worldwide but luckily there is an on-line shop!
